2024 Good Samaritan Appeal
Spring’s arrival serves as a reminder of the season’s glory. For many, spring is a season of hope, marking the first time in several months when sunny rays break through the gray sky. It’s the time when rainbows begin to appear, signifying the transition from rainstorms to the emergence of the sun in a dazzling array of colors.
At St. Paul’s, we are determined to keep life bright and colorful for our residents by fostering joy, love, and peace of mind. It is our mission to provide meaning, richness of life, health care, and other support services, while maintaining and enhancing the dignity of human life, regardless of a resident’s financial situation.
Through the support of St. Paul’s Good Samaritan Fund, residents who exhaust their financial resources can continue to live at St. Paul’s and receive the love, care, and support they need, for as long as they should need it.
In 2023, St. Paul’s provided more than $4.3 million in unfunded and benevolent care to residents in need. This includes 65% of the residents at St. Paul’s in skilled nursing care and 5% of those living in personal care who cannot afford to pay the full cost of their care.
