Thursday, January 23 - Tea Talk

Tea Talk will take place today at 2 p.m. in The Gathering Place. The topic is "Growing up in Greenville." Join other residents and share your favorite memories of growing up in Greenville during it's prime.

Friday, January 24 - An Evening in Youngstown

Join us for an evening out in Youngstown. The group will have a delicious dinner at Nicolinni's in Youngstown followed by a show at the YSU Ward Bleecher Planetarium. The show is titled "Winter Skywatch." The night sky changes with the seasons and so does our Skywatch program. The LIVE traditional star talk covers the current night sky, constellation lore, and current astronomical events. The bus will begin picking up at 4:15 p.m. and return around 10 p.m. There will be a $10.14 per person transportation fee on your monthly bill. There is no fee for the planetarium and you are responsible for any purchases that you make. Sign ups for this activity have closed.

Tuesday, January 28 - Lunch and a Movie

Today we will travel to Meadville to see the movie "Wicked" and have lunch at Fat Eddy's Bar-BQ. The movie is 2 hours and 40 minutes and rated PG. The cost of the movie is $5 per person and there will be a $4.30 per person transportation fee on your monthly bill. At this time, I do not have a time for the movie, but will post it when the theatre does. Sign up online by NOON on Friday, January 24.

Wednesday, January 29 - An Afternoon in Youngstown

The bus will begin picking up at 9:30 a.m. for a trip to The Museum of Labor and Industry in Youngstown. Followed by our time at the museum we will have lunch at Sam's Wedge Inn in Youngstown. There will be an $8.82 per person transportation fee on your monthly bill. You are responsible for the $6 museum admission fee and for any purchases that you make. The bus will return to campus around 2:30 p.m.

Friday, January 31 - National Hot Cocoa Day

Celebrate National Hot Cocoa Day by stopping in The Keifer Welcome Center for a warm cup of deliciousness.

Monday, February 3 - Men & Women's Chat Groups

The Men and Women's Chat Groups will meet today at 10 a.m. The men will meet in The Gathering Place and the women will meet in The Library or The 19th Hole depending on the size of the group.

Wednesday, February 5 - Monthly Birthday Celebration

Join us today at 1 p.m. in The 19th Hole for the monthly Colony birthday celebration.

Friday, February 7- Coffee & Donuts

Stop in The Gathering Place between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. for coffee and donuts. (While supplies last.)

Friday, February 14 - Valentine's Day Lunch

Celebrate Valentine's Day with us with a delicious lunch and fun game of Password. Lunch will consist of two kinds of soup, dessert and a gourmet grilled cheese bar. The cost of lunch is $12 per person. If you're interested in participating in a fun game of Password please specify when signing up.
